opencaster software package provides MPEG2 transport stream data generator and packet manipulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install opencaster
opencaster is installed in your system.
Make ensure the opencaster package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep opencaster *
You will get with opencaster package name, version, architecture and description in a table
